About OCAA
The Ohio Chinese American Association (OCAA) was established in March 2016 as a nonprofit organization in Ohio. It was founded in response to the growing trend of racial profiling and targeting of Chinese Americans, with the goal of informing the community and promoting education around civil rights and civic engagement.
We believe it is both urgent and essential for Chinese Americans to take a more active role in civic life. To protect the civil rights of our community and future generations, we must come together, raise our voices, and take a stand. We also aim to build bridges—engaging both Chinese Americans and allies of all backgrounds who share our values and support our mission.
